How is shipping calculated? We usually have three categories of items: UPS/Ground, UPS/Oversized, and Truck Freight. One shipping charge is added for each category and brand in your order. Shipping charges are calculated based on the total of the items in a category/brand combination in your order. Shipping charges are not calculated on the complete order total. For 1 Kichler Ground Item, 1 Kichler Truck Item, 1 Minka Ground Item you will be charged two ground charges and one truck charge since these items will be shipping from different locations.d
Free shipping is also calculated based on the total category/brand combination. Your total order may be over $800, but if the Truck Freight item in the order isn't over $800, you will be charged Truck Freight.
Please keep in mind that our items that ship by Truck Freight are too heavy or bulky for normal carriers like UPS or Fed Ex to accept and come straight to your door using only the most reliable truck freight lines. Truck freight rates are more expensive because the truck is making one trip directly from the warehouse to your door.
